WBC Admission Arrangements Consultation - 3 November to 15 December 2025
Wokingham Borough Council is currently consulting on its proposed school admission arrangements for the 2027/2028 academic year. The consultation is now live and we are seeking views from all relevant stakeholders.

The consultation will remain open until 15 December 2025, and all responses are welcomed to help shape fair and effective admission arrangements across the borough.
Applying for an infant or primary school place for September 2026
Starting school is an important stage in your child’s life. It's important to remember that if your child attends a nursery or foundation unit which is part of a primary or infant school, there is no automatic transfer or guarantee you will get a place at the school.
For an application to be considered on time it must be submitted between 13 November and 15 January 2026. Applications should be made via the Citizens Portal online school admissions website before 15 January. You will not be able to apply via Citizens Portal after this date.
If you are unable to apply using the Citizens Portal, paper applications can be requested by contacting schooladmissions@wokingham.gov.uk. Paper application forms must also be received by the 15 January deadline. Paper application forms and online applications are treated the same and are not treated on a 'first come, first served' basis.
